We're taking the iPad (gen 1 wi-fi only) as an extra e-reader, web browser and general video display device. Then, going anti-clockwise from top left, we have Will's portable games player, his laptop, my iPhone (extra camera and wi-fi device), my e-reader and then assorted cables and connectors.
Not shown are: headphones (Will and I will each take a set of cans and a set of in-ear phones); and the Canon digital SLR which took this photo.
Thinking back ten years I reckon we would have only taken the camera (digital but not an SLR) and my old iPod. That iPod is still running but I won't be taking it with me for this trip.
