Japan 2014: Tokyo Apartment

The original idea of this Japanese holiday was to follow the directions of the tour group we were using and use their recommended hotel in Tokyo. It's an independent tour, in that they provide an itinerary, book all the hotels and rail passes and day tours, but we generally do what we want within the bounds they set.

Robyn thought we could probably do better in Tokyo given the tour group had us three to a room the whole way. Airbnb provided the solution in Tokyo by way of a two-bedroom apartment in the World City Towers not far from the Shinagawa Station. The tour had wanted to put us into a Prince Hotel on the other side of the station but in the end we were glad we made the choice we did.
